Benedetta conducts ad hoc research, project evaluations, risks/political/need assessments, situational/threat analysis; analytical reports and policy recommendations, best practices research, curriculum design and training/facilitation.
Benedetta is also frequent news commentator and public speaker on international security, geopolitics, security and human security, Middle Eastern politics, and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
She has worked for international NGOs, private risk consulting firms, international organizations, and governments.

She is a referee for a number of peer-reviewed journals, including Comparative Political Studies, Critical Studies on Terrorism, Democratization, Global Change, Peace & Security, the International Studies Review, the International Journal of Transitional Justice, the International Journal of Security and Development, the Journal of Common Market Studies Mediterranean Politics, The Middle East Journal, Security Studies and Terrorism and Political Violence.
